Medical aid prices exclude the R110.00 admin fee, which applies to the first hour only. Your scheme covers the first hour at the claim rate; time beyond that is billed to you at the private rate, so longer sessions total the same as the private fee. Private sessions carry a R100 admin fee.

Payment Terms & Guidelines
Private PracticeKindly note that CJ Psychology operates as a private practice, with full payment due at the time of your consultation. We provide a detailed, itemised invoice with all required codes so you can easily claim back from your medical aid.
Medical AidClaims are submitted directly to medical schemes where applicable. An R110 admin fee applies to medical aid sessions. Clients remain responsible for any shortfall or uncovered sessions.
Private PaymentsPayments can be made via EFT or cash on or before the day of consultation.
Cancellation PolicyPlease provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid being billed for the scheduled session.
Session CoverageMedical aid schemes cover the first hour of each session claim; the R110 admin fee and any uncovered balance remain payable by the client.
PMBAvailable and subject to consultation after the first session and evaluation.

The student rate is subject to proof of current enrolment at a recognised institution.
